The MBT-Child training will provide an overview of mentalization development in middle childhood (ages 5-12), an introduction to a time-limited model of MBT-C, and several opportunities to develop practical skills needed in order to work with children from a mentalizing perspective.
The MBT-Child Online Training will cover the following topics:
The MBT-C course is best suited for counselors, therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists who work with children and families. This course will assume a working knowledge of mentalization as a concept.
Those who have completed the MBT-C training will have the opportunity to join an individual or group supervision, which will support you to implement the MBT-C approach to your own clinical practice. This is an essential element for those who wish to be registered as an MBT-C Practitioner. The MBT Basic Online Training is an introductory course on the subject of mentalization. This includes subjects such as MBT principles, the Not Knowing stance, empathic validation, and more.
The MBT Basic Online Training will cover the following topics:
Attendees should be qualified health professionals (psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health nurses, etc.) who have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with people with personality disorders.
The training is composed of 18 hours of live, instructor-led content and 21 hours of self-guided content.

This training course will be provided by Le réseau francophone des thérapies basées sur la mentalisation. This training will be presented in French. The aim of this training is to help participants work towards Level B MBT practitioner.
The new MBT Practitioner one-month course is made up of 2 days of live, instructor-led content (including breaks) and 4 hours of self-guided content. Attendees will be required to do various tasks before, in-between, and after the live, instructor-led sessions.
This two-day workshop expands upon previous knowledge and embeds the basic skills of mentalization-based treatment (MBT). This training is suitable for mental health and other professionals who are interested in the treatment of personality disorders and have already completed the basic MBT training course. The aim is to facilitate skills development. Attendance at the course is part of the requirements for recognition as an MBT practitioner.
The MBT Practitione r Online Training will cover the following topics:
Participants are expected to have been using mentalizing skills in their everyday practice and to have participated in supervision.
